The Resident Sommelier

Maria has a wealth of experience advising shareholders, directors and private equity over a 16-year career focusing on the mid-market. She has worked across a number of sectors and has advised international corporates on investing into UK businesses and supporting owner managers to achieve their exit or strategic ambitions.

Maria’s passion goes beyond the boardroom numbers – she thrives on understanding the human factors which influence transactions and loves nothing more than bringing her experience and insights to align the motivations around the board table, which sometimes can be quite the challenge!

Away from the desk, Maria loves spending time with her family and friends and being a mum to two little budding future Olympic athletes (she hopes!)… her weekends are filled with various activities. Given the chance, Maria enjoys raising a glass of fine wine or two (she is, after all, a WSET Level 1 aficionado!).
