Giulia De Rosa has recently returned from a five‑week secondment with Nash Advisory, based across the Milan and Turin offices, marking the completion of the 7oceans Alliance’s first international secondment programme

During the secondment, Giulia worked alongside Italian colleagues on active mandates, sharing knowledge of the UK deal market while gaining first-hand insight into the Italian M&A landscape, local deal culture and broader European market. The experience provided valuable exposure to a different environment, supporting the development of new relationships and fresh perspectives

Reflecting on her time in Italy, Giulia commented “In just a short time, I’ve learned so much. This secondment has been an amazing way to collaborate, share knowledge, and strengthen relationships across our alliance”

Beyond the day-to-day of live transactions, the secondment also offered the opportunity to experience Italian culture – from the excitement of the Winter Olympics and Milan Fashion Week to a vineyard dinner in Piedmont and time spent skiing in the mountains. These shared moments are the foundation on which lasting professional relationships are built
