Provantage were always there, whatever time of day with the right advice and guidance. Even when they were tied up, they responded as soon as practically possible. Their meticulousness was admirable… data and spreadsheets were always top notch and incredibly well thought out for understanding and readability which made my life so much easier. I’m going to miss the daily interactions with the team.

“It was always my preference that should Encore be acquired it would be by a world-class recruitment leader in our sector, that shared our vision and cultural values, I am pleased to say this is very evident with Gi Group Holding.” says Pete Taylor, Managing Director of Encore Personnel.
Based in Milan, Italy, Gi Group Holding is one of the world’s largest multinational staffing companies and is active in more than 100 countries across the globe.
Commenting on the acquisition, Stefano Colli-Lanzi, CEO and President of the Gi Group says: “This latest acquisition allows us to consolidate our position as a leading provider of recruitment services to the UK’s driving, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. It will enable us to become even more competitive and in turn, strengthens our position as a global player in the recruitment sector.”
This transaction was originated and led by Provantage Corporate Finance with Alex Thompson advising the shareholders of Encore Personnel.
Alex Thompson of Provantage commented “Encore has grown into a leading player in the UK recruitment sector, developing into a business-critical partner for its clients, and the acquisition by GI Group considerably enhances their position.
