Provantage Corporate Finance is pleased to announce they have acted as lead advisor to the shareholders of Clarke Banks, a leading UK building safety and fire engineering group, and Xact Consulting & Training, a specialist provider of fire safety training and qualifications, on their sale to CERTANIA, the international Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) group
This acquisition brings together two highly complementary businesses within CERTANIA’S global network, combining building safety advisory fire engineering, and a leading fire safety qualifications and apprenticeships provider into one integrated UK platform
Rooted in the Midlands, with Clarke Banks founded in Cannock and Xact headquartered in Worcestershire, this deal outlines the region’s growing reputation as a hub for building expertise and training, and now as part of CERTANIA’s global group, both businesses are set to expand their reach in the UK market and beyond

Their commitment to quality and innovation made this a standout deal, and we’re thrilled to have helped bring together such a strong strategic fit with Certania making their foundation investment into the UK Building & Infrastructure market”
