In all fairness though, he does have over 25 years’ corporate finance experience, and has worked with over 400 business owners to complete over 200 deals worth over £2bln across the globe

As well as a Big 4 and mid-tier background and rather unusually for an adviser, David has also worked as a commercial director and shareholder within a global private equity backed business and acted as a principal in both acquiring and disposing of that business…so he has stood in the shoes of his clients

He has an impressive track record of establishing and growing leading award-winning corporate finance teams, with a dedicated focus on both his clients and colleagues – two of his key mantras are to always do the right things in the right way, especially when no one is looking and to be sure to do basic things exceptionally well

As a founding partner at Provantage Corporate Finance, he feels proud and fortunate to work in a vibrant, dynamic, and focused independent environment alongside an awesome team. He loves what he does and feels privileged and responsible to support business owners through what is often their most important and valuable transaction, where he can truly make a difference.

When he’s not busy in the office, David loves skiing (just wishes he was better at it), eating out, craft beers in traditional pubs and travelling. A real family man, David values time with his wife and two children, especially holidays and spends many weekends as a taxi driver, bank manager and sports fan to his children…and loving every minute! David loves most sports, mainly as a spectator these days but when he does participate, he still believes he can do what he was able to do over 20 years ago!
